I, too, am one of those that just gets on the phone and orders a new one put in. If it leaks, I have someone to call, and I HATE glass work. Two ideas for you; typically, there is some rust somewhere around the windshield that should be removed and primed. This may take a bit more time than the glass installer allowed, so bring just a bit more money and be sure it gets done. The second item is that the later style trim fits all the 200 series cars, should still be available, and is quite a bit quieter than the old style with the "chrome" trim at highway speeds. I would lean heavily towards this as an upgrade over the older style with the clips and all that effort.
