Reverse shift with M41 Transmission 1800

Hello,

The original shifter on an 1800E has built into the shift cover a spring loaded ball that has to be depressed when shifting into reverse.

When working correctly, it takes extra effort to move the shifter handle over to the reverse position.

Without some sort of reverse lockout, one might accidentally get reverse when trying to shift into 1st.

If you are trying to downshift into 1st while moving forward and get reverse instead, you might damage the driveline.
