Thanks George. I left messages for Olof and Joe today. This being Saturday I may not hear back for a few days.

If I were to mention the words "JB Weld" in the context of smoothing out pits in steering gears...what would you think? If it worked I would still need bearings...but I am not that desperate...yet.
