Question about differential, do I have a problem? 200 1988

It is probably normal to hear things moving in the axle area when the car is suspended and wheels not on the ground.
Aside from all those other noises that you probably don't need to worry about, were you able to hear the noise that you where looking for?
If you haven't done it yet, then for piece of mind why don't you lubricate the center support bearing, and if possible the u-joints,then take it out for a test drive.I think that you should eliminate all other possibilities before doing the bearings.
Keep us posted,thanks
