I've been doing a little (limited) research on the PRV engine in my 780. According to what I've found, this engine was rated at 170hp in this car, several hp more than in the 760. I've also read that it is not a very reliable engine, although this one sounds like a new engine with 256,000 miles on the odometer (it may have been changed out or rebuilt).

Has anyone actually played with one of these to see what potential there is for gaining horsepower or bolting up a manual transmission? I am still leaning toward a 351 Windsor but might leave this engine in the car while the other motor is being built.

Regards,
