...so you are indirectly saying that you have to "clean-up" you fuse box every time it rains??? That would be unacceptably frequent for me...and I guess that's why you're posting...

Yes...this can and should be prevented, when all three areas of corrosion are addressed, and fuses and terminals are installed with ACZP, I suggest you wont have any connection issues for a darned long time (at the fuseblock anyway), even if the car were submerged!
