Glad you got it fixed. Just wanted to say that you sound a whole lot more competent than me, and my Dad and I knocked out the front struts, strut mounts, ball joints, tie rod ends, and control-arm bushings in an 8 hour day. My guess is that you should be able to handle it no problem. Let me know if you do end up doing it and I'll send some invaluable links your way.
