Can you put up a cloth unit, like a party tent, in the back yard? Then at least you can keep one car out of the sun or rain. If the political correctness police come by, take the tent down and put it back up when the numskulls go away. I have a yellow canvas tarp hanging down at a steep angle from my garage under which I keep one car. The previous tarp was shredded in Hurricane Katrina, but I bought a replacement and hung it from the same hooks.
