NAPA rules

Vidi, vini, vici. NAPA had a box of 8 for $3.20, 4 small and 4 large clips. The small ones fit just fine.

George, I played around with the IPD "tool" before putting the clip in and guess what? It is too thick! The blade of the tool is fatter than the clip, enough so that it needs to be forced to get in the crevass where the spring clip lies.

The new NAPA clip allowed the handle to easily slip on the latch post and I could hear it 'click' nicely. I wonder if I can now get it off. I will save that for a rainy day.
