No Start 700 1987

Sorry it took so long for me to post. Today is my first day off from work since getting back from PA.

They did fix the issue. Main fuel pump. They replaced the main pump and the fuel filter for about $480 after tax. When listening for the pumps I could hear the in tank pump but was not sure about the main pump. I have never heard it turn on when turning the key to the 2 position. I still cant hear it now with a brand new pump. They also suggested replacing the in tank pump but I think I will do that myself to save some $.

I was happy with the shop though. When I originally called them they said they were too busy to fit me in last Monday. I then explained to him my predicament and he said that he would make time to at least diagnose the problem that day. He called me about 5pm Monday and said it was the main pump and he could have it fixed by 5pm the next day. I made it home in time for work Wednesday morning (only got about 2 hours of sleep that night).

Thanks again for all of the advise while I was troubleshooting the no start issues last weekend!
