The IPD transmission flush method should work for non-bricks? 200

The CRV calls for just dumping out what comes out of the pan every 30K miles. On a level surface, your CRV will dump very very close to 3.5 quarts BTW. Hold onto your knickers when you buy the Approved Honda Trani Fluid.

I'm not a big fan of letting the trani oil Pump itself out until the trani is dry.
If you want to do a total flush, I recommend, Taking the Trani line off at the radiator, start the vehicle and fill with New as it pumps out the old. You kinda have to guess at the flow out vs your putting in the new. I would buy 4 extra quarts over what is considered Oil capacity. If the old fluid is that old/dirty.. You will see it freshen up as it pumps out the Trani line. When it gets to a nice clean color. Shut it down reinstall the hose and then check where you are as far as Fluid level.
