240 stalled; error code 1,2,1, what next? 200

Okay, took a look under the hood this morning, no obvious issues related to my stalling issue, however, I noticed that the lines for my Genuine Volvo transmission cooler are leaking, so now I need to address that issue...

I removed the exisiting AMM and replaced it with a "New" one from the junk yard, car started and ran great.

I opened the air filter housing, the air flap was in the closed position, and I tested its operation to verify that the air box thermostat was working correctly.

The air filter was moderately dirty, so not an issue, but I replaced it with one that I had "In stock".

(An aside here: As is done in the corporate world, one of my "Best Practices" is to take a Sharpie Pen and add the mileage and date to my parts when I install them, when possible. Of course, I have a book in my glove box that I document with all of my repairs, however, today, when I pulled my air filter, I could see my notation that I had replaced the last air filter at "268,685 miles 7/29/2009", which let me know that it was time to replace the air filter...)

At this time, I am leaning toward an issue with a ground or my pre-pump.

I'm going to clean the various ground contacts, and then pull the prepump assembly.

If it needs to be maintained, repaired or replaced on a 1990 240, I've probably done it. '90 240DL, 290K (Almost there!!) Looking forward to 300K badge (or sticker??). >>You haven't really worked on a car until you draw blood<< :-}
