No Start--Thinking ignition.. 200 1988

Did you check the crankshaft position sensor? I just had mine replaced today. The original was shot so bad that the Volvo mechanic couldn't even believe that the car ran at all! Needed a new fuel pump relay too.

I had off and on starting issues and always chalked it up to the fuel pump fuse. I had the fuse holder replaced because it was corroded from rain getting in under the hood. Worked for a while and then starting became very problematic. So it turns out my no spark no start issue was the CPS.

Just another idea to consider! Good luck!
