Using a Bosch 139 Module to run stock point ignition 120-130

True, it won't fix the issue of uneven point cam wear, shaft/bushing wear or advance mechanism problems, but it's cheap alterative to get electronic ignition.

I did run it on my old 003 distributor before swapping it out for the 085 dizzy, and it did run much better than the just running the coil off of the points.

It's a vacuum advance 0231170085 distributor. It was like new. It must be a replacement distributor, I found a 1980 time stamp on it.

Paul

BTW- These 139 modules can be found in mid-80's Saabs. Volvo used a 124 module that don't control dwell (dumb units).
