stalling 200 1991

Check the wires on the back of your alternator. My car did this for a while, and then one day just decided not to start on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.....try. Turns out the excessive engine shaking when starting would wiggle the smaller wire (I am assuming it's some sort of signal wire) on the alternator, eventually breaking it off completely.

I am sure there are other more "popular" causes - but checking the alternator isn't difficult.
