Caution ... 200

Ken,

A 1990 240DL Sedan with ~155k miles on it; just a baby :). I bought the car second hand in 2004 (at ~98K) in Maryland. This was also the last time the rear brakes were done. Seven years (call that NE winters) and ~57K miles later, they need replacement.

I replaced the front rotors, pads and calipers 2 years ago (or ~20K miles ago). Rotors were Brembo vented; pads were Genuine Volvo brand, whatever that is. Both came from FCP Groton.

I was planning to go with Brembo (non-vented) rotors and PBR Deluxe or Genuine Volvo pads. I just put the PBR Deluxe pads on my Passat; I like them. So was leaning toward them.

Given your comment "be sure you don't pick a pad composition that has much more "bite" than the fronts.", are the PBR Deluxe pads ok, or should I stay with whatever FCP Groton sells for the Genuine Volvo? Or will either do?

thanks
