I need a creative solution 200 1989

It is, but it isn't.. The bushings are shaped so it fits right in there and bulges out to hold the outer shape. I have to experiment I guess, with various sized rubber washers until I can hold it right in there. I know the proper part would just do it's job as intended. But, I guess it's a matter of buying a bunch of .30 rubber washers or hose and seeing what works best... I'll let you know what I find.
