I probably should not have included the term "crazy." It is really a simple symptom, but one I have not had the personal pleasure of experiencing. Volvo's literature describes it simply as "idle problems" but hearing others report the driveability troubles accompanying a DTC 311, I construed it to be crazy. A better analogy would take into account the brain had one of its senses removed. Surely those with a sensory deprivation should bristle at the idea they would be considered "crazy."
And yes, Jarrod added something that pops up a captcha screen when I post links. How annoying, but so is a lot of security these days.
