Your idle dropped, and I just saw a post on TB (suspected missing VSS) where idle went way high, reset when restarted. Now that's what I call crazy, while in reality could simply be differences in base throttle opening (or cleanliness) reacting to absence of idle air bypass control.

I'm surprised your odo kept working, as the taximeter takeoff is at a stage prior to the stepper driver, and most who have encountered this could care less about DTC 311 or cruise -- they were just trying to fix their odometers and wound up making it worse. I suppose the "lightning" damage is variable.
