To reduce confusion, let's call the lock cylinder a "lock cylinder" and only use the word
"tumbler" to refer to the spring-loaded pins inside the lock cylinder which ARE the tumblers.
(Note that a tumbler also is a drinking glass, a gymnast, and a bunch of other things also.)
