Lucky for me, most of my 240s are second or third owner purchases with lots of take-it-in-to-the-dealer maintenance
That's what happened to this one. I got it thirteen years ago with just over 100k miles on the clock, and I've put near another 100k on it. The car came with a meticulous service record (As well as somewhat peculiar diplomatic and tourist overseas delivery documentation.) and a folder containing all the maintenance and repair bills, mostly from Volvo dealers. Nowhere can I find any evidence that the coolant pump was ever replaced. That's what amazed me.
