There is one ΒΌ"-20 UNC bolt at the bottom ear of the flange that holds it to the block.
Use a 7/16" wrench to take it out and it pulls right off. May be gummed in the hole.
You can clean it with mineral spirits, paint thinner, charcoal starter fluid, etc.
Plug both holes and shake it good and hard, then drain. May have to do it more than once.
If the hoses don't have clamps you can normally pull them apart. May not be easy.
Twisting usually helps.
You can clean the PCV valve also, same way as the oil trap.
