The tail lights are not working,(when the head lights are on, the work on the parking lights position) on the 64 PV544 I just got. I thought well I will just install a switch I have from another 64 volvo 544.
The wires were in different positions on the switch so I thought (AHA the problem is in the wiring) then looked at a switch from a 1962 and it matched the newer 64 I just got.

So maybe I learned something the wires were on different locations, but the identification numbers for each of the contacts on the three switches were different. But if you just went by the contact numbers on each switch the wires were connected to the same identification number even though they are in different locations on the switch.

So I guess I will go by the identification numbers for the contacts, not the physical location on the three switches.
