Hello,
I look forward to helping you get the parts you need.
However at this time, you probably do not need a replacement switch, just a replacement knob if you do have a 1968 and later wiper switch that uses a break away knob.
We do have good used break away knobs and even some NOS knobs.
1st, you have to remove the remnant of the old knob and the tools you will need will be a small Allen wrench(around 1/8"), a small Vise-grip pliers or just any old type of pliers and a butane cigarette lighter.
While sitting inside the car, heat the tip of the long end of the small Allen wrench with the lighter while holding the Allen wrench with the pliers.
When the tip of the Allen wrench is red hot, plunge the hot end into the remnant of the knob that is stuck in the end of the wiper switch about 1/4".
Do your best to plunge into the center.
Hold the pliers steady for 20-30 seconds so the Allen wrench cools down enough to allow the plastic to solidify around the end of the Allen wrench so you can remove the pliers from the Allen wrench.
Allow the Allen wrench to cool down for 3-4 minutes so it is cool to the touch.
The remnant can now be removed by using the Allen wrench to unscrew the broken knob remnant out.
When you are ready to remove the remnant from the Allen wrench, just reheat the Allen wrench with the lighter while holding it with the pliers again and it will loosen and you can easily scrape it off.
As I said before, we have knobs, but in the meantime you can use a small machine screw WITH THE CORRECT THREADS to operate the switch until you can get a replacement knob.
I can not remember the correct thread, but you can use the remnant to get the correct size machine screw.
You could use any one of the other knobs, except the lighter knob which has larger threads, to operate the wiper switch, but you run the risk of breaking another knob if you are not careful.
FYI, it will be easier to check the threads if you leave the remnant on the end of the Allen wrench.
I will try to remember to check a switch to determine the correct sized machine screw and report back.
