You should probably go straight to Pertronix for the answer to that one, although I
much prefer the 1975 distributor used in the B20 powered 240, with its own module, etc.
(This won't work with D-jet fuel injection at this point but I am planning to work on that.)
The pedal box may be different enough that you can't use it because the 140 clutch cable
comes straight through the firewall and the 164 cable enters into the bottom of a box extension
on the firewall. In other words the 140 cable is pulled toward the driver's knee
and the 164 cable is pulled upward. I haven't tried it but it may be that using a
140 pedal in a 164 box MIGHT work. The cable hook on the 140 pedal sticks straight up,
while the one on the 164 sticks straight forward.
