Okay, I replaced the fuel pump and the car started and ran fine. I drove into town to do some shopping and then it started misbehaving. First it stalled after had it parked, but restarted right away. Then it failed to start more frequently. Once it stalled for a few seconds coasting downhill, but restarted by itself. Seems each time it stalled or failed to start, it took longer before I could start it. I could see where this was going, so when it stalled on a side street, I called the auto club for a tow. Started okay when the flatbed was in my driveway, but stalled and wouldn't restart before we managed to back it off, so we pushed it.
Clearly it's not the fuel pump (although the old one was flaky, higher resistance and I was getting radio static, which I didn't anymore now). It must be one of those pesky relays. Any other suggestions? Where do I find the FI and radio suppression relays in a Regina car?
