I'm with Udo... the stuff you're hearing must be about the PRV (Peugeot/Renault/Volvo) 2.8 liter V6, an engine that was never used in the 164. The inline 6 in the 164 is the B30, which is essentially a B20 with 2 more cylinders. Great engine, IMHO.
