1972 164e, OD 140-160

Well, it has an electronic ignition, coil, and distributor, all aftermarket, (the originals are in the trunk, as is the Volvo radio). Then it has two hoses which seemed to have been originally connected to the thermostat housing. The hoses now are connected to each other with a large OFF/ON valve.

I need to do some trouble shooting as the car kind of fires up and dies. Granted, I have not done much so far as it is winter but I intend to fix it, so I need some direction as far as parts sourcing and a service manual.
