On the B30 each trigger point works 3 cylinders (even or odd numbered)
I would use the finest stuff I could find on the trigger points. They are very low voltage
and no inductance so all you really need to do is clean them.
Also be sure and check the trigger points IN the distributor. Sometimes the phenolic pusher
block gets worn or broken and even though the points look good and you can break them
manually the cam in the distributor will not open them. BTW Keep your elbow AWAY from
the nose of the coil while you measure the resistance/continuity of the trigger points!
It can give you a REAL JAR!! Surprising how good a ground that ignition voltage sees
in your elbow!
