If you go with the 4 cyl. turbo in the 9-5 over the V-6, keep an eye out for sludge issues, especially with earlier models. My local independent Saab mechanic has a whole page on their website devoted to the sludge problem.

Apparently Saab fixed the PCV system in later models and resolved the issue.
