My son has a 2003 9-3 sport sedan, which I believe is actually a Vauxhall body with a Saab engine or so I've read that somewhere. As far as acceleration, cornering, stopping, economy (35 MPG highway), and over all handling response, it's a blast to drive - nice and tight. But as far as I'm concerned, that's where the pleasure ends. I can't believe that Volvo and Saab come from the same planet, much less the same country. It's the wierdest thing I'm ever had to deal with. Nothing on this car seems very simple. Electrical gremlins abound. It might be that the GM influence has not been good, or maybe it's just this model and the 9-5 is a better vehicle??
Also, the bankruptcy thing and its effect on the car's value has me concerned.
