Has anyone rebuilt an M46?

There are a couple guys on here that have done it bu I would suggest starting with one of those junkyard transmissions and building that out.

That being said, I have not heard of may M46's going bad. Are you sure all three motor mounts and the tranny mount are in good shape an the clutch is fully releasing?
