It is a rough call. You don't want to insult anyone, but you don't want to overpay either. I just bought a nice 88 245 170,000 miles with a quiet nice running engine for $350.00. Plus it's a 5 speed! I drove it 40 miles home, clutch is starting to slip. and I'm thrilled with a parts car! LOL!
But I think 100-150 is fair. Ask him!
