240 computor problem 200 1982

My buddy who has a 1982 240 has a computer problem. Not sure what it is but he is told the computer for that car was made for 2 years and is having an issue finding one. Anyone know where to look or who to ask?
The vin number is YVIAX4949C1779193, its a 130 C.I. electronic ignition and I believe the computer o.e. number is 1317873 usa T terminal.
Im a 122S owner, 65 model so im dealing with vintage stuff versus new models and know nothing about the 240 except to ask the BB peeps about it.
