B20B No Start ... 140-160 1971

I'll give that a try. Am I just rotating it back and forth slightly to find the "sweet spot"? I'm also going to test for compression to see if there is a problem internally, but this wouldn't prevent starting correct, it would just run poorly?

I'm also wondering if there isn't a problem with the distributor. If I turn the rotor by hand CCW it turns about 20 deg and springs back smoothly. But I can also turn the rotor CW slightly (maybe 5-10 deg) and it will stick - I have to return it by hand. I thought that you should not be able to turn the rotor CW at all?
