Yes, but why would you? They are slower AND heavier. Here we got the 242GT with the high compression B23E including 531 head & giant H cam & it's still no match for a 142 with a B20E. Be aware that the early B230 bottom end is junk, while the later is good. The top end is no better than anything seen on a B23. IMHO, the only reason to fit a B230 would be because you are lucky enough to have a 16V head for it.
