I went to the FAQs, and though I don't have my car in front of me (1000mi away) I sure do NOT remember that little diagnostic block and test wire shown in the FAQs supposedly for '88-UP 700 cars with built-in reader capability.

I was deep into that area (back of the left front strut tower) recently w/ alternator and A/C compressor out, and I suspect I would have seen it there, but who knows?

My car build date was 12/88
