i haven't tried the glue kit for the rear view mirror attachment yet. i'll try it though - hope it works - i've been fighting this problem since 1982 when i bought the 142s. seems the glass and the steel expand and contract at different temperatures causing the latch to fall off? thanks. steve mccann.
