"I was getting a sweet smell/taste with the heat running..."

I am getting no smell.
I caught the "steam" (in the sunlight) coming from the center dash vent after I switched from defrost (to stop the windshield fogging) to the dash vents. Cold outside air. I will see what it does in the AM...........Thanks...
