Think outside the box! Electric!
I saw this Datsun on TV that did the quarter in 11 sec and it was electric.
1200 ft-lbs of torque, wow! Burn offs and wheel stands!
The only issue would be range anxiety.
I really don't think it would be much more work or money that a B230turbo.
