clutch problem? 444-544

If the car actually jerks or bucks while engaging 1st gear, the clutch has to be at least partially engaged. If the clutch was not transferring at least some power the vehicle would not buck or jerk.
Try readjusting the clutch, heat build up is closing the dimension of disengagement. Bottom line....open up the adjustment to compensate for the "heat expansion". Good luck with it.
