New windshield installed, but it leaks! 120-130 1966

Was the metal work nice and smooth all around with no rust apparent? So that there wouldn't be any bumps in the rubber?

Did you use a really good sealant between the glass and rubber? Between the rubber and glass?

Were you abbe to "squeeze" the sealant out all along the length of the glass to rubber and rubber to metal contact area to be assured of a continuous seal.

What sealant did you use?

The rubber you got from Sweden, was it OEM Volvo?

Not trying to put you on the spot, but this seems to be a recurring problem and this might be a good test case since the glass and hopefully the rubber you used were both new and OEM.
