All the Brembo rotors I have gotten for the race cars I have worked on (Saturn, Fox bodied Mustang, 3rd-gen Camaro) are now made in China. Globalization is rampant.

Just being Chinese does not automatically make it crap. Politics aside, it is all about the spec's and quality control. With all the large forges in the world now located in China or India it will become harder and harder to get even Eastern European manufactured heavy steel or cast iron.
