The leaky or hanging injector is a great possibility. Nice having new thoughts!
You could popped those up and run the pumps by jumping the fuses.
Try applying power momentarily to see if you can make one show a bad pattern, hesitation or drips.
Be nice if you had a spare connector with wires freed to do that. Like four of them tied together in alternating pairs for comparison.
Other wise you could cross out, one by one with a know good one and drive it.
My luck, it would be the very last one I change out! Hey hey, start with the middle ones and split your odds! (:-). Nah, too confusing. Try the hardest one to get to first.
