More Hot Fuses Question 700 1989

Kitty, I also find that strange -- that a 7 series of any year would have Eurofuses, the kind described as "ceramic."

Cars nowadays have that little blade fuse (mini) you grabbed an image from, but the 7 series I have seen have ATO fuse panels. But I've only seen them in the junkyards, and what I remember about them, most had the fuse panel out of the ashtray as folks were looking for those without burned sockets.

It is always a mistake to blame this burning damage on the load, unless someone has replaced the fuse with one grossly over its rating.
