If you search Bugeye Triumph or Bugeye Sprites there is a very good write up on bench testing J type o/ds along with expected pressures. I also found article on how to make an inexpensive pressure gauge set up to monitor the internal pressure when the o/d id turning. If you have trouble finding either of these I can forward it to you
