Thanks for the informative web pages Chris. BTW - I'll be moving to L.A. county.

I'm still curious though, is there a shot a well maintained 1992 240 Non-EGR, Non-California Cat, can pass L.A. county emissions? If there's no chance I can install those things prior to my move (I have 2+ months to do the work).

If there is a chance of passing as-is, I will play it by ear and make changes as needed once I get to California.

I understand this will cost but really want to keep cars (if possible).
