That brass plug on the bottom of the gas tank is a 27/64” square socket.

There are actually 2 plugs in the D-jet gas tanks that have an intank filter, a drain plug and the access plug for the intank filter.

1972-1973 1800E/ES, 142/144/145 and 1972-1975 have a filter access plug.
