How long to cool down turbos before turning engine off?

I understand the basic physics of turbos, I just don't know the specifics.

What about B230FT's? Do you need to let them cool down after your regular commute to work? If so, how long? I've unofficially heard of other turbos needing at least 3 minutes of idle before shutdown after a regular drive. Also, what would be an acceptable cool down period after "spirited driving" with a B230FT?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
