You know how to find out for yourself ? When you arrive at night let the motor run and lo k at the turbo with no light in as much darkness as you can.You will see the manifold and sometimes the turbo glowing.Time it and see how long it will take for the glow to go away.Then make your own decision.If you turn it off too soon not only you kill the turbo quickly but also invite exhaust manifold warpage.Most turbos will glow even from sedate driving.
